Acciona Energia stock weighs stronger 2025 earnings against a smaller asset base. A Brazil summit puts storage and renewable investment in focus.

Profit growth meets portfolio rotation

  • Acciona Energia reported higher 2025 operating profit and parent-company earnings despite lower net revenue.
  • Asset disposals reduced installed power and materially influenced the reported earnings mix.
  • The Future Energy Summit Brazil put storage, financing and new renewable tenders on the sector agenda.

Two developments shaped the week for Acciona Energia: the audited 2025 accounts highlighted stronger reported earnings after major disposals, while a company executive joined the agenda for Brazil's renewable-energy debate.

Higher earnings, lower revenue

Acciona Energia's consolidated accounts for the year ended December 31, 2025, were prepared by the board on February 26, 2026, and received an unmodified audit opinion from KPMG. The 2025 consolidated annual accounts show net revenue of 2.925 billion euros, down from 3.048 billion euros in 2024.

Operating profit rose to 952 million euros from 699 million euros, while profit attributable to the parent company increased to 655 million euros from 357 million euros. The accounts also show operating cash flow falling to 383 million euros from 681 million euros, making the quality and repeatability of the earnings improvement important for investors.

Disposals reshape the earnings mix

Portfolio rotation was a major factor behind the reported result. Acciona Energia completed the sale of its hydroelectric business to Endesa for 964 million euros and recognised a gain of 491 million euros. It also sold a Spanish wind portfolio with 440 megawatts of capacity for 531 million euros, recording a gain of 203 million euros. A Peruvian wind farm was sold for 218 million euros.

Installed power stood at 12,882 megawatts at year-end, compared with 13,630 megawatts a year earlier. That smaller asset base leaves recurring generation, new project additions and future capital rotation as key issues for the stock.

Brazil keeps storage in focus

The Future Energy Summit Brazil began in Sao Paulo on November 5, bringing together government representatives, investors, developers and technology providers to discuss storage, financing and upcoming tenders. Energía Estratégica listed Mayara Miqueletti, Acciona Energia's head of business development, among the participants. The event was a sector meeting rather than a company earnings release, but its focus on batteries and renewable investment is relevant to the group's pipeline and growth prospects.

Acciona Energia stock traded at 22.07 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 12:02:36 CET on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Investors can follow the real-time quote of Acciona Energia stock.
