Adani Enterprises reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue up 74.00 percent to INR 380,230 million on October 28, 2026. The company’s official results release shows that operating growth accelerated even as profit after tax declined because the prior-year comparison included an exceptional item.
Operating earnings accelerate
Half-year revenue rose 62.00 percent to INR 715,690 million, while EBITDA increased 56.00 percent to INR 119,580 million. Continuing profit before tax reached INR 32,970 million for the first half, an increase of 45.00 percent year over year.
The second-quarter operating result was similarly strong. EBITDA climbed 62.00 percent to INR 63,160 million, and continuing profit before tax rose 146.00 percent to INR 20,020 million. Profit after tax attributable to owners fell 55.00 percent to INR 14,920 million, compared with INR 33,040 million a year earlier, when the comparison period included a larger exceptional item.
Expansion is adding scale
The results point to a broader earnings base rather than a single business driver. Copper sales volume reached 80.6 thousand tonnes in the quarter, compared with 11.8 thousand tonnes a year earlier. For the first half, copper sales volume rose 5.2 times to 145.3 thousand tonnes.
Adani New Industries expanded solar module capacity to 10 gigawatts after commissioning a 4.3 gigawatt TopCon line in September 2026. AdaniConnex also secured a 240 megawatt hyperscale order for its Navi Mumbai data center, taking cumulative tied-up capacity above 1.2 gigawatts, while operational capacity reached 94.6 megawatts.
What the profit mix means
For investors, the central distinction is between operating momentum and reported net income. The release records Q2 profit after tax of INR 14,920 million against INR 33,040 million in the prior-year quarter, while higher EBITDA and profit before tax indicate that the newer businesses are contributing more before exceptional effects.
