Anheuser-Busch InBev stock faces a mixed setup after stronger third-quarter growth. China weakness and investment costs remain key investor concerns.

What Q3 growth leaves investors watching

  • Organic revenue rose in the third quarter, supported by pricing, premiumization and growth beyond traditional beer.
  • China remained the main drag, with weaker volumes and earnings in Asia Pacific.
  • AB InBev maintained its 2026 EBITDA outlook and approved a higher interim dividend.

Anheuser-Busch InBev reported stronger third-quarter results on October 29, 2026, as organic revenue growth and higher underlying earnings outweighed flat beer volumes and a sharp downturn in China. The Business Wire release hosted by AFP said organic revenue increased 4.9 percent in the third quarter, while total volumes rose 0.4 percent.

Anheuser-Busch InBev stock traded at 76.24 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:11 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026.

Growth broadens beyond core beer

Reported revenue increased 9.1 percent to 16.512 billion USD, helped by currency translation. Revenue per hectoliter rose 4.2 percent, reflecting revenue management and a more premium product mix. Combined revenue from the company's megabrands increased 7.7 percent, while no-alcohol beer revenue gained 35 percent and Beyond Beer revenue rose 19 percent.

Normalized EBITDA increased 3.9 percent to 5.957 billion USD, but its margin narrowed by 34 basis points to 36.1 percent. The company attributed the pressure to higher sales and marketing investment and commodity costs, partly offset by disciplined overhead management. Underlying EPS increased 22.4 percent to 1.21 USD.

China remains the main drag

Asia Pacific volumes fell 11.0 percent organically, with China volumes down 16.8 percent. Regional revenue declined 9.5 percent and normalized EBITDA fell 22.4 percent. AB InBev cited abnormal weather, weakness in the on-premise channel and inventory management as factors affecting the region.

Management kept its 2026 outlook for EBITDA growth within the medium-term range of 4 to 8 percent. The board also approved an interim dividend of 0.40 euros per share, with the Euronext ex-dividend date set for November 19, 2026.
