- ATOSS increased nine-month revenue while cloud subscriptions drove software growth.
- Management raised the 2026 EBIT margin outlook but expects revenue near the lower end of its range.
- Recurring revenue and the order backlog continued to expand, strengthening revenue visibility.
ATOSS Software SE delivered another quarter of profitable growth, but the revenue mix remained uneven. In its release on October 23, 2026, published through Deutsche Boerse, the company reported higher recurring revenue and profitability for the first nine months of 2026.
Cloud Growth Supports Results
Group revenue rose 12 percent year over year to EUR 155.8 million from EUR 139.3 million. Software revenue advanced 14 percent to EUR 117.5 million, led by Cloud and Subscriptions, which grew 26 percent to EUR 85.2 million. Recurring revenue, including maintenance, increased 17 percent to EUR 113.8 million and represented 73 percent of group revenue.
The shift toward recurring contracts was also visible in the order book. The Cloud and Subscriptions order backlog increased 23 percent from a year earlier to EUR 125.0 million at September 30. Total ARR order backlog rose 16 percent to EUR 161.4 million, while Cloud and Subscriptions ARR climbed 25 percent to EUR 119.4 million.
One-off license revenue moved in the opposite direction, falling 39 percent to EUR 3.7 million. Consulting revenue increased 5 percent to EUR 31.2 million, while maintenance revenue declined 3 percent to EUR 28.6 million. The figures point to a stronger subscription base, but also to continued pressure on the legacy license business.
Margin Outlook Moves Higher
Profitability improved faster than the top line. EBIT rose 19 percent to EUR 57.3 million, lifting the nine-month margin to 37 percent from 35 percent a year earlier. ATOSS attributed the improvement to cost discipline and AI-driven productivity gains, particularly in Innovation and Development. Net profit increased 14 percent to EUR 39.0 million.
Third-quarter revenue reached EUR 52.6 million, compared with EUR 47.2 million in the prior-year quarter. Quarterly EBIT rose to EUR 21.1 million from EUR 17.2 million, and the EBIT margin expanded to 40 percent from 36 percent. The stronger margin performance prompted management to raise its full-year 2026 EBIT margin forecast to around 37 percent, compared with its previous target of at least 34 percent.
Management kept its full-year revenue range at EUR 210 million to EUR 215 million but expects the result near the lower end. Recurring revenue is tracking toward the upper end of expectations, while on-premises license revenue is below plan. That mix is positive for visibility and profitability, although weaker license revenue limits the near-term growth profile.
