Cheniere Energy reported stronger third-quarter operating results on October 29 and raised its full-year 2026 financial targets for the third consecutive quarter. In its Cheniere Energy release, the LNG producer reported revenue of 6.17 billion US dollars for the three months ended September 30, up 39 percent from the year-earlier quarter.

Net income attributable to Cheniere rose 12 percent to 1.17 billion US dollars. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, increased 18 percent to 1.90 billion US dollars, while Cheniere Distributable Cash Flow reached 1.23 billion US dollars. LNG exports rose to 188 cargoes from 163 a year earlier, with volumes increasing 17 percent to 684 TBtu.

Full-Year Targets Move Higher

Cheniere raised its 2026 Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA guidance to 8.75 billion to 9.25 billion US dollars from 7.90 billion to 8.40 billion previously. The company also lifted its Distributable Cash Flow range to 6.05 billion to 6.55 billion US dollars from 5.30 billion to 5.80 billion.

Management attributed the quarterly improvement to higher volumes recognized in income and stronger margins per million British thermal units of LNG delivered. Cheniere said the completed seventh train of the Corpus Christi Stage 3 project expanded production capacity by more than 20 percent and improved visibility into its initial 2027 production forecast.

The company maintained its 2026 production expectation at 53 million to 54 million tonnes. It expects the completed Corpus Christi expansion and debottlenecking work to support higher production in 2027, although the reported guidance remains subject to market conditions, project execution and other risks.

Dividend Increase Adds Shareholder Return

Cheniere's board declared a quarterly cash dividend of 0.625 US dollars per common share, more than 12 percent above the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on November 17, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 9.

Cheniere also repurchased approximately 2.8 million shares for about 731 million US dollars during the quarter and invested approximately 740 million US dollars in growth capital. These capital-allocation measures support shareholder returns while the company continues to fund LNG capacity expansion.
