DoorDash is adding Christmas tree delivery to its holiday retail push, giving the delivery platform another seasonal service beyond restaurants. The company announced the offer on Monday, November 2, 2026, in a DoorDash announcement.

Seasonal retail moves beyond meals

From November 15 through December 7, customers can order real and artificial Christmas trees from participating retailers including Michaels, Kohl's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware and Lowe's. DoorDash is offering 20 percent off orders of at least 60 US dollars that include a tree, subject to a maximum discount of 20 US dollars and other conditions.

The tree offer adds a distinct seasonal retail category to DoorDash's holiday hub. The company is also advertising Black Friday discounts of up to 50 percent from November 23 through November 30, along with digital gift-card promotions and daily DashPass offers from December 1 through December 6.

Catering and returns add order occasions

DoorDash is expanding consumer catering for groups of 10 to more than 150 people in cities including San Francisco, Manhattan, Los Angeles, Chicago and Austin. Customers can schedule orders up to 14 days ahead, while the company's Ask DoorDash assistant recommends menus and portions based on group size and preferences.

Dasher Returns is rolling out nationwide this month for eligible retail orders. Customers can schedule a pickup for a flat fee of 7.99 US dollars, with DoorDash saying a Dasher can collect the return without a box or shipping label.
