Enel stock: Endesa reports 15% profit growth and keeps outlook

Endesa, majority-owned by Italian utility Enel, confirmed its full-year profit guidance on Wednesday, October 28, after stronger network earnings lifted results for the first nine months. Reuters reported that net profit rose to EUR 1.96 billion from EUR 1.71 billion a year earlier.

Revenue increased 9 percent to EUR 17.39 billion. Adjusted profit, the measure Endesa uses for its guidance and dividend policy, climbed more than 22 percent to EUR 2.13 billion. Endesa said the result put it on track to reach its target of more than EUR 2.4 billion for the full year.

Network earnings support outlook

The performance highlights the contribution of regulated network activities within Enel's portfolio. For investors in Enel, the Spanish subsidiary's confirmed outlook provides an additional operating reference ahead of Enel's own nine-month report. It does not, however, replace the group's consolidated figures or its formal guidance.

Enel is scheduled to publish its nine-month results on November 11, 2026. That release should show how the group's wider generation, network and customer businesses performed through the third quarter and whether the parent company maintains its full-year targets.
