ENGIE reported stronger operating performance for the first nine months of 2026 on Thursday, November 5, with EBIT excluding Nuclear reaching 7.0 billion euros. The company said organic growth was 3.3% for the period and 10.9% in the third quarter. The figures were published by ENGIE's newsroom.
Higher earnings visibility for 2026
Management now expects full-year 2026 net recurring income to reach the upper end of its guidance range of 4.9 billion to 5.5 billion euros. The update gives investors a firmer earnings frame for the final quarter, although the company still operates against a volatile energy and macroeconomic backdrop.
UK Power Networks contributed 452 million euros to EBIT after five months of consolidation from May. ENGIE also reported 7.5 billion euros of cash flow from operations and economic net debt of 62.5 billion euros, equivalent to 4.2 times economic net debt to EBITDA.
Renewables and storage remain strategic drivers
Renewables and battery energy storage systems reached 60.2 gigawatts of installed capacity at the end of September, with another 6.6 gigawatts under construction. ENGIE said it signed more than 3 gigawatts of power purchase agreements during the first nine months and had more than 10 gigawatts of storage capacity operating or under construction worldwide.
For investors, the main change from the previous report is the combination of an upper-end earnings outlook and additional evidence of operating growth. The Lang & Schwarz quote also moved above the level cited in the October 28 pre-market report: 24.09 euros versus 23.35 euros, an increase of 3.17%.
ENGIE stock traded at 24.09 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:44 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026; investors can follow the real-time quote of ENGIE stock.
