Burdett supplies aggregates, recycled construction and demolition materials, and sand across Victoria. The business has operated since 1972 and serves customers in infrastructure, industry and building construction.

The acquisition adds local aggregates, sand reserves and recycling capability in one of Australia's strongest growth corridors. Holcim also welcomed more than 120 Burdett employees to the group.
The transaction supports Holcim's NextGen Growth 2030 strategy and its ECOCycle platform. The group targets recycling more than 20 million tons of construction and demolition materials globally each year by 2030, while ECOCycle products contain between 10% and 100% recycled material by total product weight.
