- Professional Products and Dermatological Beauty led growth, while Luxe and Consumer Products also advanced.
- Management expects another year of sales and profit growth after strong nine-month momentum.
L'Oréal's third-quarter performance added fresh evidence that growth is broadening across its portfolio. According to Playbook of Beauty, the company reported third-quarter sales of 11.56 billion euros for the period ended September 30, 2026, up 11.9 percent on a reported basis.
Four Divisions Drive Q3 Growth
Adjusted like-for-like sales growth reached 7.7 percent in the quarter, compared with 6.5 percent in the first half. All four divisions expanded: Professional Products and Dermatological Beauty each grew 13.9 percent, Luxe advanced 7.0 percent and Consumer Products increased 3.8 percent.
Professional Products benefited from premium haircare, salon services and omnichannel distribution. Dermatological Beauty continued to gain from La Roche-Posay, CeraVe and SkinCeuticals. In Luxe, fragrances led growth, while Consumer Products saw accelerating volume development.
The regional picture was also uneven but broadly positive. SAPMENA-SSA led with adjusted like-for-like growth of 19.5 percent, followed by Europe at 8.9 percent, North Asia at 7.8 percent and North America at 5.6 percent. Latin America declined 3.0 percent, affected by temporary makeup supply disruptions and distributor stock adjustments in Mexico.
Management Keeps Growth Outlook
Nine-month sales reached 35.34 billion euros, up 6.9 percent on both like-for-like and adjusted like-for-like measures, according to the same report. E-commerce grew around 17 percent over the first nine months, adding support to L'Oréal's omnichannel strategy.
Chief Executive Nicolas Hieronimus said the first nine months gave him confidence that L'Oréal would deliver another year of sales and profit growth. The company expects the global beauty market to grow by about 5 percent in the fourth quarter and aims to continue outperforming it, albeit at a more moderate pace than in the third quarter.
