- Nestle kept its 2026 organic-growth target at 3% to 4% after stronger third-quarter volume growth.
- Russia's deconsolidation will change reported sales, operating profit and free cash flow from the fourth quarter.
- Management continues to target free cash flow above CHF 9 billion.
Nestle's October 22 third-quarter and nine-month sales update combined stronger volume momentum with a change to the group's reporting perimeter. The company kept its 2026 outlook, while Russia's exit from consolidation will affect reported figures from the fourth quarter.
Nestle stock traded at 93.68 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 6:31 p.m. CET on Friday, November 6, 2026. The quote was 1.29 percent below the 94.90 euros recorded in the relevant report on Thursday, November 5.
Volume growth supports guidance
Nestle reported third-quarter sales of CHF 22.8 billion and organic growth of 4.0 percent in the October 22 update. Real internal growth contributed 2.8 percent, while pricing added 1.1 percent. Volume growth was positive across all zones and globally managed businesses.
The company continues to target organic growth of 3% to 4% for 2026. Management also expects its underlying trading operating profit margin to improve from 2025 and free cash flow to exceed CHF 9 billion. Nestle's investor calendar lists the 2026 full-year results for February 18, 2027, according to its investor information.
Russia changes future comparisons
Nestle said its Russian business was no longer consolidated from the end of September after temporary external administration removed the group's management control. The company remains the legal owner of the assets.
From the fourth quarter, the smaller reporting perimeter will affect reported sales, underlying trading operating profit and free cash flow. Russia had represented about 2 percent of group sales and 3% to 4% of underlying trading operating profit and free cash flow on an annualized basis. The deconsolidation is expected to raise year-end 2026 group net debt by about CHF 0.9 billion.
For investors, the key distinction is between operating momentum and accounting effects. Stronger real internal growth supports the unchanged outlook, while fourth-quarter and 2027 comparisons will reflect the absence of the Russian business.
