Higher earnings and guidance
ONEOK reported its third-quarter 2026 results on October 27, according to the company's official earnings release. Net income reached USD 1.38 billion, while adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, came to USD 2.24 billion.
Management raised its 2026 net income guidance to a range of USD 4.09 billion to USD 4.27 billion. The midpoint for adjusted EBITDA increased to USD 8.55 billion, within a range of USD 8.50 billion to USD 8.60 billion. The company said the higher outlook reflects year-to-date performance, stronger volumes and the recently completed Brazos Permian Midland acquisition.
Debt reduction shapes the outlook
ONEOK said it extinguished nearly USD 5.5 billion of debt principal in September after completing a USD 9 billion minority equity investment. The company also completed the acquisition of Brazos Midstream's Permian Midland Basin assets and said S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings upgraded its credit rating to BBB+.
Operating momentum was strongest in the Permian Basin. ONEOK reported a 6 percent increase in NGL raw feed throughput volumes, a 6 percent increase in refined products volumes shipped and a 4 percent increase in Permian natural gas volumes processed.
For investors, the combination of higher guidance and lower debt points to improved financial flexibility, while the integration of Brazos remains an important execution issue. The company's adjusted EBITDA outlook is a non-GAAP measure and should be considered alongside reported net income.
