| Upstream Field Development | |
Lionheart upstream field development activities continued to progress well and remain on track, validating Vulcan’s assumptions in its Field Development Plan (FDP) for sub-surface performance. The FDP involves the drilling of multiple production and re-injection wells to produce lithium-rich, hot brine to the surface for energy and lithium extraction before re-injecting the lithium depleted brine back into the sub-surface as part of a fully circular process Drilling at the seventh well (a re-injection well) in the Lionheart FDP, comprising a pilot hole (LSC-3) and subsequent horizontal side-track hole (LSC-3a), was successfully completed during the Quarter. LSC-3a, Vulcan’s first well to re-inject brine back into the matrix of the sandstone reservoir, delivered results post Quarter-end providing direct field validation supporting sub-surface assumptions. The results also reduce uncertainty and allow investigation of additional optimisation opportunities Well pad construction at the new drilling site (Trappelberg) was significantly advanced, with rig foundations nearing completion and inner pad works progressing in line with targeted completion in Q4 2026 Refurbishment activities were completed on Vulcan’s second onshore drill rig, V10, which will commence mobilisation to Trappelberg in Q4 2026 The Company’s second lithium production license (designated ’Ilka’) was issued in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field by the Mining Authority of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

A number of key ‘balance of plant’ packages were also awarded. Corporate developments |
Vulcan continued to successfully operate its demonstration scale lithium supply chain to, amongst other, deliver key milestones for the Company’s financing requirements. LiCl solution was produced at the upstream lithium extraction optimisation plant and transferred to the downstream lithium chemical optimisation plant for production of battery grade Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (LHM) Milestones were met and funds received from strategic equity partners comprising €53.7m for the first two equity drawdowns of the Company’s €2.2bn ($3.9bn) Lionheart funding package. Grant disbursements from the German government also commenced with first funds received totalling €10.7m A PFS was completed for Project Ludwig, a proposed second phase of lithium and geothermal renewable energy production beyond Lionheart. The PFS demonstrated robust project economics, including a pre-tax NPV8 of €2.6 billion and IRR of 25.0%, post-tax NPV8 of €1.7 billion and IRR of 20.2%, based on a 30-year planned operating life Ms Amanda Lacaze, well known for her prior leadership of Lynas Rare Earths, was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to the Vulcan Board Mr Angus Barker was appointed as Independent Non-Executive Chair (previously Lead Independent Director and Deputy Chair), succeeding Dr Francis Wedin, as part of an orderly Board succession to a more traditional Board composition with an Independent Non-Executive Chair. Dr Wedin has now transitioned to a Founder role, focused on growth opportunities within the Company. Vulcan’s Managing Director and CEO, Cris Moreno, commented: “Our flagship Project Lionheart continues to progress to schedule. During the Quarter, we not only demonstrated Lionheart construction momentum, we also significantly de-risked our Field Development Plan with our latest well test results. We also continued successfully operating our existing production facilities to satisfy project finance and other stakeholder requirements. “Vulcan has been operating four wells, two commercial renewable energy plants and two demonstration facilities with industrial scale equipment since November 2025 (with wells and renewable power plants operating independently for far longer). Lionheart will be the larger, commercial version of our existing operation which already spans the entire lithium supply chain. “Vulcan has invested approximately €100m developing what is now bankable lithium production technology and tonnes of battery grade chemicals are being produced, stockpiled and sent to our offtake partners for product testing. Our years of experience and know how will be translated to produce at an industrial scale at Lionheart from 2028. “We have strong conviction in the structural lithium demand being driven from electrification and energy storage. This is particularly evident in Europe where energy security and supply chain sovereignty are recognised as strategic imperatives. The requirement for ‘made in Europe’ is driving major local investment from Asian cathode, battery and vehicle manufacturing players which is expected to translate to strong demand for local materials. This is a material tailwind for Vulcan as we are one of the only large-scale builders of lithium production in Europe with a significant resource portfolio to grow with”.

| Vercana (internal) | Vulcan’s wholly owned drilling subsidiary – provision of in-house Geothermal and lithium brine drilling expertise and execution | Drilling |
| Lionheart Field Development | |
The FDP involves the drilling of multiple production and re-injection wells to produce lithium-rich, hot brine to the surface for energy and lithium extraction before re-injecting the lithium depleted brine back into the sub-surface as part of a fully circular process. Permitting is one of the critical ancillary activities to the FDP and drilling activities. During the Quarter, Vulcan’s second lithium production license (designated ’Ilka’) was issued in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field by the Mining Authority of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Ilka licence further validates the progress being made towards targeted first production in 2028.
Drilling of production/ re-injection wells Representing Vulcan’s seventh well within the Lionheart Field Development Plan (including four historical operational wells), LSC-3a was drilled during September 2026 and tested post the end of the Quarter An initial pilot hole, LSC-3 was successfully drilled to confirm the location and quality of a higher-permeability reservoir interval previously encountered in LSC-1 and LSC-2 A geo-steered horizontal well, LSC-3a, was subsequently drilled to a total measured depth of 3,743m to maximise exposure to the higher-permeability reservoir interval Interpretation of the test data, adjusted for downhole pressure and temperature measurements and wellbore modelling, indicated an injection capacity of approximately 64 standard litres per second under planned operating conditions of 70 barg, wellhead pressure, and 65°C wellhead temperature. The demonstrated injection capacity materially exceeds the Vulcan matrix injection development assumption of ~40 standard litres per second Re-injection back into the matrix of the sandstone reservoir is significant and validates the potential to use lithium-depleted brine to push and actively sweep larger portions of the underground formation to increase lithium recovery LSC-3a is Vulcan’s first well to re-inject brine back into the matrix of the sandstone reservoir and the results provide direct field validation and support sub-surface assumptions. The result reduces uncertainty and allows additional optimisation opportunities to be investigated.
Well site development Well pad construction and engineering activities continued at Trappelberg, the fourth and next production/ re-injection well site for Lionheart Rig foundations nearing completion and inner pad works continue for finalisation in Q4 2026 Mobilisation of the Company’s second drilling rig, V10, is targeted for Q4 2026 (a smaller rig has started drilling the protective pipes prior to the arrival of the V10 rig) Well-site development at Landau (proximal to the Lionheart lithium extraction and renewable energy plants) also advanced, with tenders issued for de-commissioning environmental assessments and well pad construction.

| Interconnected Pipeline and Power (ICPP) | |
The ICPP is a network of pipelines and cables at Lionheart. The pipelines transport lithium brine and industrial water from the well sites to the geothermal and lithium extraction plant and back to the well sites for re-injection (see Figure 3 Lionheart Project overview map above for ICPP section locations). Key activities associated with the ICPP during the Quarter included: Site activities Construction activities for Section 1 commenced (including pipeline) with targeted completion on track for Q3 2027 Early preparatory works, including rail crossings, commenced at Section 2 ahead of main construction activities on track to commence in Q4 2026 as per plan. Engineering Permitting and land: ICPP Section 1 operating permit is in place Land for ICPP Sections 2 and 3 has been secured via easement contracts. Securing land for ICPP Sections 4 to 6 is progressing Engineering activities are ongoing for all sections, including engineering for key items such as cables, and pipes for future sections and junctions. Contracts and procurement ICPP tenders for Sections 3 to 7 have been received and the contracts for these sections are expected to be awarded in Q4 2026 Completed procurement of key long-lead materials for Sections 1 and 2

| Upstream Geothermal and Lithium Extraction Plant | |
Lionheart’s combined geothermal and lithium extraction plant has been designed to produce both geothermal renewable energy and high-quality lithium chloride (LiCl) from deep geothermal brine. The commercial site, sitting on approximately ten hectares, is under construction in the Messegelände Südost industrial park in Landau. The plants, which are to be connected to the ICPP, are also close to an existing well site in Landau that houses the first of Vulcan’s existing geothermal plants which generates renewable district heating to the community. The second existing Vulcan geothermal plant at Insheim is fed by operating wells and produces renewable power that is sold to the electricity grid. During the Quarter, the Insheim power plant underwent maintenance and is targeted to resume delivering power at the end of Q4 2026. The existing Landau geothermal power plant, which had also been undergoing maintenance activities, returned to operation during the Quarter. Site activities Construction works on the Lionheart geothermal and lithium extraction facilities included: 30MW geothermal plant early construction works progressed, including earthworks, deep foundations and civil works for the air-cooled condenser systems Lithium extraction plant early bulk earthworks and 110kV overhead line relocation were completed, and preparation of tank farm civil works progressed. Engineering SHJV concluded the 30% design review milestone of the lithium extraction plant design The lithium extraction equipment provider, JordProxa, has made parallel progress towards its 60% design review stage for the development of the lithium extraction plant 60% of the engineering design for the geothermal plant has been completed. This includes piping and instrumentation diagrams and structural drawings that are mature enough to allow the issuance of accurate purchase orders for bulk items like steel, pipes, and valves. Contracts and procurement A Request for Quotation for the construction of the deep foundations for the geothermal plant was issued to the market and awarded The ABB supply contract is being finalised and is targeted for award in Q4 2026 Siemens major project documents have been developed, and engineering is progressing per the plan. VULSORB® First commercial scale production of Vulcan’s proprietary lithium extraction adsorbent, VULSORB®, commenced in Germany. The achievement marks the commencement of production for first fill volumes of the A-DLE lithium extraction columns ahead of Lionheart commissioning in 2028. VULSORB® is the material used to selectively capture lithium from brine and has been extensively validated by Vulcan through years of industrial demonstration scale production. Importantly, VULSORB® is one of the only commercially bankable Adsorption-type Direct Lithium Extraction (A-DLE) technologies with western intellectual property and a fully China independent supply chain. This is particularly relevant given that China, the incumbent leader in A-DLE, has been enforcing export restrictions on the technology since early 2025 VULSORB® will be deployed across Vulcan’s Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field, including its Project Lionheart, Project Ludwig and other growth projects, and through select technology licencing arrangements with third parties
