Redcare Pharmacy reported a strong third quarter on October 29, with prescription sales in Germany again driving growth and profitability. According to the company's October 29 results release, group revenue rose 18 percent year over year to 847 million euros, compared with 719 million euros in the third quarter of 2025.
Prescription Sales Lead Expansion
Prescription revenue increased 31 percent to 358 million euros. Germany was the main contributor, with prescription revenue up 56 percent to 197 million euros. Swiss prescription revenue at MediService grew 10 percent to 161 million euros, while non-prescription revenue advanced 9 percent to 489 million euros.
Total DACH revenue rose 19 percent to 697 million euros, and international revenue increased 13 percent to 149 million euros. The active customer base reached 15.2 million at the end of September, adding 0.5 million customers during the quarter and 1.5 million over the prior year.
Margins Move Further Into Profit
Adjusted EBITDA climbed 68 percent year over year to 28.7 million euros, lifting the margin to 3.4 percent from 2.4 percent. DACH adjusted EBITDA reached 29 million euros, with the segment margin improving to 4.2 percent from 3.0 percent. Redcare said lower marketing spending and a lower cost per order supported the improvement.
Net income was positive at 1 million euros, marking a second consecutive profitable quarter. Free cash flow reached 15 million euros in the quarter. For the first nine months, revenue increased 19 percent to 2.55 billion euros and adjusted EBITDA reached 73 million euros, with a margin of 2.9 percent.
2026 Targets Remain Unchanged
Management confirmed its upgraded 2026 outlook. It continues to target total revenue growth of 16 to 18 percent, non-prescription growth of 10 to 12 percent, German prescription revenue of 730 million to 760 million euros and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 2.5 to 3.0 percent.
The company also expects positive free cash flow in 2027. The October trading trend included softer non-prescription growth, but management said the development remained within its full-year framework. For investors, the key test is whether prescription momentum can offset pressure in the non-prescription business while Redcare continues to expand margins.
