- Mobilize Financial Services provided the main growth contribution while automotive revenue remained broadly stable.
- Vehicle sales declined in the quarter, but Renault reported strong growth in electric-vehicle deliveries.
- Management kept its 2026 operating-margin and automotive free-cash-flow outlook unchanged.
Renault Group reported resilient third-quarter revenue on Thursday, October 29, 2026, while vehicle volumes declined and management kept its full-year outlook unchanged. The company said group revenue reached EUR 11.596 billion, with the update covered by Borsa Italiana.
Revenue resilience meets volume pressure
Automotive revenue was EUR 9.835 billion, broadly stable from the prior-year quarter and down 0.2 percent at constant exchange rates. Mobilize Financial Services revenue rose 11.0 percent to EUR 1.761 billion, supported by higher interest rates and average performing assets of EUR 62.5 billion.
Group sales fell 6.0 percent to 497,799 vehicles. Renault said electric-vehicle sales increased 84.7 percent year on year, lifting electric vehicles to 25.8 percent of passenger-car sales. Including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, electrified vehicles represented 54.9 percent of passenger-car sales.
What has changed since the last report
The operating update adds a clearer split between volume pressure and mix support, while the market reference has moved lower. Renault stock traded at 27.58 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:09 CET on Friday, October 30, 2026, 2.20 percent below the Xetra close of Thursday, October 29. Since the previous ad-hoc-news.de report published on October 29, the Lang & Schwarz quote has declined from 28.05 euros to 27.58 euros, a 1.68 percent decrease.
Renault maintained its 2026 outlook for a group operating margin of around 5.5 percent of revenue and automotive free cash flow of around EUR 1.0 billion. Management expects a slight second-half margin improvement, although higher raw-material costs and inflation are expected to limit the usual seasonal uplift.
For investors, the next focus is execution: Renault must convert stronger electrification and higher-value sales channels into margin support while managing lower volumes and competitive pressure.
