- Shriram Finance stock extended a two-day rally on November 3, but remained below key longer-term moving averages.
- Weekly indicators stayed bearish while monthly signals improved, leaving the recovery without full technical confirmation.
- Outperformance versus the Sensex and NBFC peers strengthened the rebound, while the 50-day average remained a key hurdle.
Shriram Finance stock extended its short-term rebound on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, as the share price rose as much as 3.13% to an intraday high of INR 893.65. MarketsMojo said the move extended a two-day gain of 7.67% and outpaced both the Sensex and NBFC peers.
The advance came after a weaker stretch. MarketsMojo reported that the stock had fallen 5.71% over the previous month, while its three-month decline reached 16.92%. The latest move therefore recovered part of the recent weakness but did not yet establish a confirmed trend reversal.
Moving averages remain the key test
Shriram Finance traded above its five-day moving average but remained below the 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day averages, according to the report. That configuration points to improving short-term momentum within a broader downtrend. The 50-day average was identified as the main resistance level for the recovery.
Technical signals were mixed across time frames. Weekly MACD and KST readings remained bearish, while monthly MACD and Bollinger Band signals improved. Monthly RSI was bullish, but daily moving averages continued to signal weakness. For investors, the setup points to a rebound that still needs confirmation from a sustained move above longer-term resistance.
Market strength supports the rebound
The broader Indian market provided a constructive backdrop on November 3, when the Sensex gained 0.84%. Shriram Finance nevertheless outperformed the index and its NBFC peers, a relative-strength signal that adds weight to the session's move without proving that a durable breakout has begun.
