- Symrise reported broad-based, volume-led growth across both operating segments in the third quarter.
- Management kept its 2026 targets while expecting slower fourth-quarter growth against a higher comparison base.
- Asia Pacific led regional momentum, while Pet Food and Care & Wellness returned to growth.
Symrise reported stronger volume-led growth in the third quarter on October 28, while management retained its 2026 targets. The company's official release said organic sales growth reached 5.3 percent, driven mainly by higher volumes and supported by solid customer demand.
What changed since the last report
Symrise stock traded at 93.24 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 17:44 CET on Tuesday, November 3, 1.65 percent below the 94.80 euros reported on November 2 and 0.06 percent above the Xetra close of Tuesday, November 3. The move provides a fresh market update for the second main report.
The quarterly performance was broad-based. Taste, Nutrition & Health posted organic growth of 5.2 percent, while Scent & Care grew 5.6 percent organically. Pet Food and Care & Wellness both returned to positive organic growth, strengthening the breadth of the recovery.
Outlook remains intact
Symrise continues to target organic sales growth of 2 to 4 percent for 2026, an adjusted EBITDA margin of 21.5 to 22.5 percent and an adjusted business free cash flow margin above 14 percent. Management expects full-year organic growth near the midpoint of the range.
The company also expects fourth-quarter growth to moderate sequentially as prior-year comparisons become more demanding. The adjusted EBITDA margin is expected in the lower half of the target corridor because of planned investment in IT, innovation and employees.
Asia Pacific supplied the strongest regional momentum, with additional support from Latin America and North America. For investors, the combination of volume recovery and unchanged guidance is balanced by the prospect of slower sequential growth and continued reinvestment.
