Symrise reported strong volume-driven organic sales growth in the third quarter on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, and reaffirmed its full-year outlook. The company said growth was broad-based across both operating segments and supported by solid customer demand. The reported release said organic sales growth reached 5.3 percent in the quarter.
Growth remained volume-led
Group sales rose to 1,310 million euros in the third quarter from 1,222 million euros a year earlier. Sales for the first nine months reached 3,850 million euros, with organic growth of 3.0 percent.
Taste, Nutrition & Health recorded organic growth of 5.2 percent, while Scent & Care grew 5.6 percent. Symrise said both segments benefited from volume development, while Pet Food and Care & Wellness returned to positive organic growth.
Outlook stays intact
Symrise maintained its 2026 targets for organic sales growth of 2 to 4 percent, an adjusted EBITDA margin of 21.5 to 22.5 percent and an adjusted business free cash flow margin above 14 percent. Management expects full-year organic growth near the midpoint of the range, but said fourth-quarter growth should moderate against higher prior-year comparisons.
The company also continued its share buyback during the third quarter. The program was scheduled to conclude on October 30, 2026, with repurchased shares intended for cancellation.
Capacity expands in France
Symrise brought a 27.5 million euro expansion at its Food & Beverage site in Berric, France, into operation on October 22. The project adds a cooking line and spray-drying tower for chicken ingredients and taste solutions, strengthening production flexibility for savory food and nutritional applications.
