TUI stock (ISIN DE000TUAG505) closed at EUR 6.532 on Xetra on September 22, 2026, after the travel group narrowed its fiscal 2026 underlying EBIT guidance to EUR 1.2 billion to EUR 1.3 billion. The shares remained down 27.7 percent since the start of 2026, showing that the tighter forecast has not yet reversed the broader performance trend.
EBIT range becomes narrower
According to AskTraders on September 22, 2026, TUI reduced the previous fiscal 2026 EBIT range of EUR 1.1 billion to EUR 1.4 billion to EUR 1.2 billion to EUR 1.3 billion at constant exchange rates. The midpoint of the new range is EUR 1.25 billion, compared with EUR 1.413 billion of underlying EBIT reported for fiscal 2025, a difference of EUR 163 million.
The narrower range improves the numerical visibility of the forecast, but the comparison with fiscal 2025 points to a lower expected operating result. TUI also kept its full-year revenue guidance suspended, according to AskTraders.
Bookings and capacity shape risk
The operating picture is mixed in the figures reported for the fiscal 2026 update. Summer booked revenue in the Markets and Airline segment was 5 percent below the prior-year level, while TUI reduced own-risk capacity by 5 percent. For winter 2026/27, booked revenue was 7 percent below the prior-year level, although the shortfall in the most recent four weeks was 1 percent.
Hotels and resorts provided a counterweight: the average daily rate rose 4 percent in the fourth fiscal quarter, while occupancy declined by 2 percentage points. Available passenger days in cruises increased 12 percent, and the average prices of TUI Cruises, Marella and Hapag-Lloyd rose 2 percent while occupancy stayed at the prior-year level.
Fuel hedging remains a measurable risk factor. Coverage stood at 98 percent for the current summer and 63 percent for the coming winter, but only 39 percent for summer 2027, according to the detailed update published by IT Boltwise on September 22, 2026.
Analyst target stays above price
Analyst James Wheatcroft of Jefferies kept a Hold rating and a EUR 7 price target after the update, while mwb Research analyst Oliver Wojahn reiterated a Buy rating with a EUR 13.50 price target, according to AskTraders on September 22, 2026. Against the EUR 6.532 Xetra close, the mwb target is EUR 6.968 higher, while the Jefferies target is EUR 0.468 higher.
Deutsche Bank maintained its Buy recommendation but lowered its price target from EUR 10.50 to EUR 10.10 on September 23, 2026, according to Zonebourse. The revision leaves the target EUR 3.568 above the Xetra closing price, but it also shows that analyst views are not uniform after the guidance update.
Stock closes at EUR 6.532
TUI stock closed at EUR 6.532 on Xetra on September 22, 2026. The next scheduled full fiscal 2026 results date is December 9, 2026, according to AskTraders.
