UniCredit is approaching its third-quarter and nine-month 2026 results presentation with earnings and leadership succession in focus. The bank is scheduled to present the figures on Monday, November 9, at 10:00 CET.
The board is due to approve the third-quarter results on Sunday, November 8. The timetable gives investors a near-term reference point for earnings quality, capital generation and management priorities.
Results arrive during leadership change
UniCredit's first-half performance provides the latest company reference point. Revenue reached 6.7 billion euros, up 13 percent year on year, while adjusted net profit rose to 3.1 billion euros, an increase of 22 percent. Adjusted earnings per share increased 28 percent, and organic capital generation reached 2.5 billion euros.
The bank also reported a second-quarter cost-to-income ratio of 35.2 percent, a first-half return on allocated capital of 19.7 percent and a net non-performing exposure ratio of 1.36 percent. The November presentation will show whether that operating momentum continued into the third quarter. The schedule and company figures are covered by Ad-hoc-news.de.
Succession remains unresolved
Chairman Pier Carlo Padoan is due to leave at the end of his term for personal reasons. UniCredit said he will work with Jeffrey Hedberg, head of the Nomination Committee, to identify a successor and support an orderly handover. No successor has been named.
Cariverona is assessing how it could contribute to UniCredit's next governance structure. Its final role remains open as the bank prepares its next board structure and a broader leadership transition expected to extend into spring 2027.
