- Xiaomi delivered more than 50,000 electric vehicles in October, its strongest monthly total of 2026.
- Deliveries for the first ten months reached about 336,000 vehicles, while the company targets 550,000 in 2026.
- The October milestone strengthens Xiaomi's vehicle business as a growth driver beyond smartphones.
Xiaomi reported more than 50,000 electric vehicle deliveries in October, marking its strongest monthly total of 2026. The milestone gives the Chinese smartphone and consumer-electronics group additional momentum as it expands into a highly competitive automotive market.
Reuters reported on November 1 that Xiaomi delivered about 336,000 vehicles in the first ten months of the year. Monthly deliveries had exceeded 30,000 units in August and 40,000 in September before October moved above 50,000. The company is targeting 550,000 vehicle deliveries for the full year, leaving a substantial execution task for the final two months.
Vehicle growth raises execution stakes
The delivery trend shows that Xiaomi's automotive business is becoming a more important part of the investment case. Higher monthly volumes can improve production efficiency and increase the contribution from models such as the SU7 and YU7, but the company must sustain the pace while competing for demand in China's new-energy vehicle market.
Reaching the annual target would require a sharp acceleration from the average achieved through October. Investors will therefore focus on November and December deliveries, production capacity and evidence that demand remains broad enough to support the ramp-up. The October figure is a positive operating signal, but it does not by itself establish the profitability of the vehicle segment.
