Zurich Insurance Group stock enters Interbrand top 100 at No. 58

Zurich Insurance Group entered Interbrand's Best Global Brands 2026 at No. 58, making it the highest new entrant to the annual Top 100. Zurich announced the recognition on Wednesday, October 28, and said the brand carried a value of 15 billion US dollars and ranked ninth among financial brands globally.

The insurer said in its media release that the ranking reflects a broader business performance and a multi-year strategy centered on customer experience. Zurich said customer experience has been integrated into its proposition, service delivery and customer relationships.

Customer strategy underpins brand growth

Zurich reported a 19-point increase in group customer satisfaction, measured through its total net promoter score, since 2019. Brand consideration also broadened: the company said it was among the five most-considered brands in 40 percent of markets in 2019, compared with 66 percent in 2025.

Chief Customer Officer Conny Kalcher described the recognition as an important milestone but said the more important test was whether stronger trust and better customer experiences could support long-term growth. Zurich said the transformation included a refreshed brand framework, updated visual identity and customer experience standards across the group.

The company also said almost 20,000 customer-facing employees had completed empathy training, representing more than 50,000 hours of learning. For investors, the ranking is primarily a qualitative indicator: it may support brand visibility and customer relevance, but it does not by itself establish a change in earnings, cash flow or valuation.
