The Ethena USDe price remained close to its 1 USD target on October 31. Investing.com displayed USDe at 1.000 USD in real time, with a 24-hour volume of 18.65 million USD, a market capitalization of 4.95 billion USD and a rank of 23. The page showed a 52-week range of 0.964 to 1.006 USD. Because the displayed page did not provide a dated UTC closing basis for the previous day, no daily percentage comparison is presented here.
Access expands through X Layer
The most recent structural development is USDe's deployment on X Layer, announced on October 23. In a post reviewed directly, Ethena said USDe was live on X Layer and OKX Wallet, with an Aave V3 market serving as the first integration. The post also said one-click USDe looping in OKX Wallet was planned for a later stage.
TokenPost reported that the deployment allows users to hold and trade the synthetic dollar on X Layer and creates an additional route for trading, liquidity and yield applications. The report described planned staking and looping support in OKX Wallet as future functionality rather than an already completed rollout. For investors, the announcement therefore points to broader distribution, but it does not by itself establish the scale of new demand or usage.
Collateral remains the key risk lens
The Ethena USDe price is designed to stay near one US dollar, so ordinary price movement is less informative than the structure supporting the peg. A report by Crypto Economy said Ethena disclosed approximately 8.8 million USD of unrealized profit-and-loss exposure to Binance, below an excess reserve fund of more than 60 million USD. The same report said Chainlink and LlamaRisk confirmed backing above 101 percent.
Crypto Economy also described USDe as relying on a delta-neutral strategy using collateral assets and derivatives rather than a simple one-to-one cash reserve. That model can support yield generation, but it leaves users exposed to dependencies involving custodians, exchanges, funding rates and derivatives markets. The reported Binance exposure and the reserve cushion should therefore be read together, rather than treating the near-1 USD quote alone as a complete risk assessment.
