Vauxhall reports UK sales growth
In a release dated October 5, 2026, Stellantis brand Vauxhall said its year-to-date retail sales volume had increased 12 percent from the same period in 2025, giving it a 4.0 percent retail market share. Vauxhall reported a 4.6 percent year-to-date share of the combined UK car and van market and said it had registered 91,105 cars and vans, compared with 87,610 a year earlier. Wayve demonstration scheduled
Stellantis said on October 1, 2026, that it and Wayve would demonstrate hands-free, door-to-door supervised automated driving at Wave by Vento 2026 in Turin from October 7 to October 9. Demonstration rides are planned in Fiat 500e and Maserati Grecale development vehicles using STLA AutoDrive powered by Wayve. The company said its strategic partnership with Wayve initially focuses on supervised automated driving in highway and urban environments, with the first product launch targeted for 2028 in North America.
