Arabian Food Industries stock faces an Egyptian Exchange trading halt on October 8, 2026, while the company enters the pause after reporting EGP 145.361 million in consolidated net income for the first half of 2026. Arab Finance reported that the exchange will resume trading on October 11, 2026.

EGX pause sets the immediate timetable

The trading suspension covers listed companies and is linked to Egypt's Armed Forces Day holiday. For Domty shareholders, the immediate market timetable therefore shifts from October 8 to the next scheduled exchange session on October 11.

The halt follows Domty's latest reported interim figures rather than a new operating announcement. The company reported consolidated first-half net income of EGP 145.361 million, compared with EGP 14.665 million in H1 2025, a year-over-year increase of 891.16 percent, according to Arab Finance in its September 30, 2026 report.

Sales and earnings move together

Domty's consolidated net sales reached EGP 5.385 billion in H1 2026, up from EGP 4.255 billion in H1 2025. Consolidated earnings per share rose to EGP 0.418 from EGP 0.043 over the same period, giving investors two separate measures of the reported improvement.

Standalone net profit was EGP 139.444 million at the end of June 2026, compared with EGP 11.037 million in H1 2025. Standalone earnings per share increased to EGP 0.402 from EGP 0.033, while consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders reached EGP 72.193 million at the end of March 2026, compared with EGP 10.592 million in the first quarter of 2025, Zawya reported.

Cheese remains the operating base

Domty was established in 1990 and manufactures, markets and distributes branded white cheese, processed cheese, mozzarella, juice and bakery products. The company says its portfolio contains nearly 200 stock-keeping units across five product segments, with the Domty, Bravo and Slim brands forming its main portfolio.

According to Domty, the group holds the number-one position in Egypt's local cheese market and is building market share in juice. The combination of EGP 5.385 billion in first-half sales and EGP 145.361 million in net income makes margin conversion the key operating measure when trading resumes.
