According to the Business Wire report, third-quarter sales reached 202.9 million US dollars for the period ended September 30, compared with 155.9 million US dollars a year earlier. Margins and guidance move higher
Adjusted EBITDA increased to 41.1 million US dollars from 29.8 million US dollars. The adjusted EBITDA margin widened to 20.2 percent from 19.1 percent, supported by higher sales and contributions from acquisitions. Cadre said demand for explosive ordnance disposal products, crowd-control equipment and chemiluminescent products contributed to the nine-month sales increase.
Cadre now expects 2026 sales between 756 million and 769 million US dollars and adjusted EBITDA between 140 million and 144 million US dollars. Capital expenditure is forecast at 11 million to 14 million US dollars. The company did not provide net income guidance, citing the difficulty of forecasting certain expenses and gains.
Buyback adds capital-allocation support
The board authorized repurchases of up to 100 million US dollars through open-market purchases, block trades, privately negotiated transactions or Rule 10b5-1 plans. The authorization does not require the company to repurchase a fixed amount of shares and remains subject to market conditions and other restrictions.

Cadre manufactures and distributes safety and survival equipment for law enforcement, first responders, military customers and nuclear markets. Its products include body armor, duty gear, explosive ordnance disposal equipment and nuclear safety products, while its distribution business supplies third-party uniforms, footwear, firearms and ammunition.
