Far Eastern New Century Corporation presented a broad set of textile, recycling and specialty-fiber products at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show, held from October 6 to 8, 2026. MarketScreener reported the presentation on October 15, citing S&P Capital IQ.
Textile Products Target Global Demand
The company highlighted FENC TopCool Petal, a moisture-management fiber selected by a global sportswear brand as a designated material for the 2026 World Cup. The fiber is designed to improve moisture wicking, drying speed, softness and opacity in sportswear applications.
FENC also presented recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles and expanded its work into textile-to-textile recycling. Its AirTek low-carbon polyurethane technology has received recognition in Germany and Taiwan, according to the report.
Recycling Moves Into Footwear
The company combined TOPGREEN rTPEE technology with a separation and decolorization process developed with the Taiwan Textile Research Institute and other partners. The resulting mono-material polyester footwear solution won an R&D 100 Award in 2026.
FENC also displayed Telix aramid fiber for applications requiring mechanical strength, puncture resistance and abrasion durability. The move broadens its materials offering into industrial and defense-related uses, although the report did not provide financial targets for the products.
