Glenmark stock: US distribution hub expands supply chain

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals inaugurated its new US distribution center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on October 29, 2026. The announcement was carried by BioSpace, which reproduced a PRNewswire release.

New hub connects US operations

The approximately 160,000-square-foot facility is Glenmarks largest distribution center in North America and its sole US distribution hub. It serves 321 locations in 43 states and supports shipments of both prescription and over-the-counter medicines.

The center operates with controlled-room-temperature storage, refrigerated cold-chain capacity and storage arrangements designed to meet US Food and Drug Administration and Drug Enforcement Administration requirements. Since operations began, the facility has shipped more than 61 million units in the United States, according to the release.

Investment across the pharmaceutical network

The Allentown site complements Glenmarks US headquarters in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, its manufacturing facility in Monroe, North Carolina, and its biotechnology subsidiary Ichnos Glenmark Innovation in New York. Glenmark said its US platform covers innovation, manufacturing and distribution.

The companys official website describes a global pharmaceutical business focused on respiratory, dermatology and oncology, with operations in more than 80 countries. The new hub is therefore an operational expansion rather than a new therapeutic launch.
