- Phase III drilling extended the mineralised zone north-northwest and generated data for a planned pre-feasibility study.
- Pilot-plant commissioning in Denmark is targeted for January 2027, subject to safety checks and execution.
- A 20-tonne bulk sample is being processed in Finland for graphite concentrate intended for downstream purification and customer qualification.
GreenRoc Strategic Materials completed eight Phase III diamond-drill holes at the Amitsoq graphite project in Greenland, the company said in an RNS announcement on Tuesday, 27 October 2026. The release said the drilling extended the mineralised zone by about 100 to 150 metres north-northwest and produced information considered sufficient to start a planned pre-feasibility study.
GreenRoc stock traded at 3 pence on the AIM market at 17:23 CEST on Friday, 30 October 2026. The quote was in pence and no verified Xetra closing comparison was available for the instrument.
Drilling sets up next study phase
The thickest estimated true intersection reported in the release measured 23.70 metres in drill hole AM_DD_041. The company cautioned that any resource upgrade or inclusion of the northern extension remains subject to assay results and review by an independent Competent Person.
GreenRoc plans to begin the Amitsoq pre-feasibility study in the first quarter of 2027. Phase IV drilling is scheduled for spring or summer 2027, while the first batch of drill-core samples has been sent to ALS in Ireland for analysis.
Purification work moves toward testing
Main components of the purification line have arrived at GreenRoc's pilot plant in Denmark, including pumps, a filter press, reactor tanks, ovens and rinse tanks. The line is planned to be ready for commissioning in January 2027 after an internal safety audit.
A 20-tonne bulk sample from Amitsoq is being processed at GTK in Finland into graphite concentrate. GreenRoc says the concentrate could feed the Danish pilot plant to produce spherical purified graphite and begin qualification with potential offtake customers, subject to successful commissioning.
For the real-time quote of GreenRoc stock, investors should distinguish the London pence quote from any euro-denominated trading venue.
GreenRoc's project and market position
GreenRoc Strategic Materials is a UK public company developing the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Greenland into a producing mine. Its plans include processing graphite into active anode material for lithium-ion batteries, with a focus on supply to electric-vehicle manufacturers in Europe and North America. The project is therefore positioned as a specialist upstream and downstream graphite-development asset rather than an operating mine or established battery-material producer.
