- LHV Group's consolidated net income increased year over year, supported by higher net interest and fee income.
- A loan-impairment release materially supported quarterly profitability, while liquidity-portfolio revaluation weighed on other income.
- The UK banking business expanded its loan portfolio and remained profitable during the quarter.
LHV Group stock was quoted at 3.27 euros by Lang & Schwarz on October 29, 2026, at 23:00:13 Berlin time. The Estonian financial group had previously reported a sharp improvement in third-quarter profitability, supported by stronger core banking income and a loan-impairment release.
According to the Nasdaq announcement published on October 20, LHV Group generated consolidated net profit of 37.5 million euros in the third quarter of 2026. That was 52 percent above the previous quarter and 43 percent higher than in the same quarter of 2025.
Core income strengthens
Total net income reached 80.1 million euros, up 10 percent year over year. Net interest income rose 24 percent to 68.8 million euros, while net fee and commission income increased 10 percent to 16.8 million euros. The net interest margin reached 2.8 percent, compared with 2.6 percent in the second quarter.
Profitability also benefited from an 8.9 million euro net release of loan impairments, mainly linked to the release of a provision for one larger client. This is a relevant quality consideration for investors because such releases can support a reporting period without representing recurring operating income. At the same time, other income was negative 5.5 million euros, mainly because of the revaluation of the liquidity portfolio.
UK unit expands lending
LHV Pank generated quarterly net profit of 33.7 million euros, while LHV Bank in the United Kingdom reported 1.4 million euros. LHV Bank's loan portfolio grew 9 percent during the quarter to 1.03 billion euros, and its net profit was 38 percent above the year-earlier level.
For the first nine months, LHV Group reported net profit of 81.9 million euros, 5 percent below the prior-year period. Nevertheless, nine-month net profit exceeded the financial plan by 3.6 million euros, according to the company.
