Managem requested the resumption of trading in its shares on the Casablanca Stock Exchange from the opening of Tuesday, November 3, after a suspension that began on October 30. The company said unconfirmed information had circulated after changes to the composition of the Moroccan All Shares Index, or MASI.

In a statement cited by Morocco World News, Managem said no significant event capable of affecting its share price had occurred or had been brought to its attention as of November 2. The group also said its financial position, operating performance, business activities and outlook remained solid and unchanged from previously communicated information.

Strong First-Half Operating Growth

Managem reported consolidated revenue of MAD 11.76 billion for the first six months of 2026, up from MAD 4.42 billion a year earlier. Net profit increased to MAD 3.78 billion from MAD 380 million.

The company attributed the improvement mainly to the Tizert copper mine in Morocco and the Boto gold mine in Senegal, which reached planned production capacity during the period. Higher gold, silver and copper prices also supported performance, while production difficulties at the Imiter silver mine in Morocco and the Tri-K gold mine in Guinea partly offset the gains.

Mining Platform Expands Into Gas

Managem operates across several African countries and covers the exploration, development and production of mineral resources. The group has also expanded beyond mining through its acquisition of Sound Energy Meridja Limited, which holds a 20 percent interest in the Tendrara gas concession in eastern Morocco.

The trading resumption leaves investors focused on the company’s operational delivery, metal prices and future changes to the MASI methodology. The group said it had taken note of the Casablanca Stock Exchange statement concerning the index composition.
