Podravka Group maintained revenue growth and high normalized profitability in the first nine months of 2026, according to a Podravka company release published on Thursday, October 29. Operating revenue rose to EUR 787.7 million, while normalized EBITDA reached EUR 129.9 million and normalized net profit stood at EUR 57.6 million.

Food and pharmaceuticals lead

The Food segment generated EUR 449.1 million in revenue. Sales of own brands increased 1.5 percent to EUR 408.1 million, supported by the Bakery business and the Cream Spreads and Confectionery category. Podravka said Lino Lada recorded strong growth in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Pharmaceuticals delivered EUR 140.8 million in revenue, up 8.8 percent from the comparable period. The non-prescription medicines programme grew 19.2 percent to EUR 22.5 million, making it a notable contributor to the group's expansion.

Agriculture remains the weak spot

Agriculture revenue declined 1.8 percent to EUR 204.3 million. Podravka linked the pressure to lower market prices for pigs, fattening cattle and raw milk, as well as adverse weather and drought that reduced yields for some arable crops. Improved operating efficiency and production processes partly offset those external pressures.

The company also reported self-sufficiency in pepper production for the first time, alongside strong wheat and barley yields. For investors, the results show a diversified earnings base: food and pharmaceuticals supported growth while agriculture remained exposed to commodity and weather conditions.
