PowerCompute reported on October 8, 2026, that it mined 8.1 Bitcoin in September, up 37% from the same month a year earlier. The preliminary and unaudited figures were published by Markets Insider in a post carrying the company release.

Debt repayment changes the balance

During September, PowerCompute applied 267.4 Bitcoin to repay approximately USD 22.45 million of principal and accrued interest under its Arch credit facility. The facility was repaid in full, reducing total secured debt from approximately USD 23.70 million to USD 1.25 million.

The transaction also released all Bitcoin previously pledged as collateral. Holdings fell to 63.7 Bitcoin at September 30 from 323.02 Bitcoin at the end of August, reflecting the use of digital assets to reduce leverage rather than carry the financing cost.

Mining remains part of a broader strategy

September production was also 2.7% above August. PowerCompute said it generated approximately USD 89,000 from energy sales during the month by selling power during heat-related curtailment at its Oklahoma and Mississippi sites. Energy sales for the three months ended September 30 reached approximately USD 312,000.

Management describes the company as an operator of electrical infrastructure serving Bitcoin mining, energy sales and planned high-performance computing and artificial intelligence capacity. For investors, the debt reduction lowers secured leverage, but the smaller Bitcoin balance also changes the companys exposure to future Bitcoin price movements. The company said the remaining Bitcoin holdings were worth approximately USD 5.3 million at September 30, based on a Bitcoin price of about USD 83,900.
