- The bank lifted its cumulative second-quarter fiscal 2027 outlook for revenue, ordinary income and interim net income.
- Management attributed the revision to stronger loan interest and interest and dividend income from securities.
- Full-year forecasts are scheduled for the second-quarter results on November 12, 2026.
The San-in Godo Bank raised its cumulative second-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings guidance on October 23, according to Japan IR. The revision covers the fiscal year ending in March 2027 and lifts the outlook for ordinary revenue, ordinary income and interim net income attributable to owners of the parent.
Guidance moves ahead of results
The revised outlook calls for ordinary revenue of 66,580 hundred million yen, ordinary income of 15,021 hundred million yen and interim net income of 10,765 hundred million yen. The figures apply to the cumulative second quarter and are not full-year targets.
Japan IR said the change was linked mainly to higher loan interest income and stronger interest and dividend income from securities. That mix leaves portfolio income as an important factor in the near-term earnings picture alongside the bank's core lending business.
November disclosure becomes key
The San-in Godo Bank plans to publish its full-year forecasts with its second-quarter financial results on November 12, 2026. Investors will be watching whether the stronger interim outlook carries through to the remaining fiscal year and how management frames the final year of its medium-term plan.
The bank's website presents a broad retail and corporate financial-services offering, including accounts, loans, insurance, inheritance support, credit cards and debit cards. It is headquartered in Shimane, Japan, and operates as a regional bank focused on customers in its home market.
