SECOM stock reports higher revenue as profit falls

Net income attributable to the quarter was JPY 24.096 billion, down 3.4 percent year over year. Ordinary profit fell 0.7 percent to JPY 39.075 billion, showing that the improvement in operating profit did not carry through to the bottom line, according to SECOM.

Management's full-year plan for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, calls for revenue of JPY 1.3135 trillion, up 4.5 percent, and operating profit of JPY 165.5 billion, up 3.2 percent. The plan also includes net income of JPY 105.8 billion, down 6.1 percent, making earnings conversion a key measure for the remaining quarters.
