- Turbo Energy brought 62.5 MWh of battery storage online at three Spanish industrial sites.
- The installations are part of a 366 MWh project covering 10 factories under a 53 million US dollar contract.
- The systems combine battery storage, solar generation and intelligent energy management for industrial demand.
Turbo Energy announced on October 6, 2026 that 62.5 MWh of intelligent battery storage had entered commercial operation at three industrial sites in Spain. The company said the systems at ECO Porcelanico, Compacglass and TAU Porcelanico had completed installation, commissioning and testing. GlobeNewswire carried the company announcement.
Storage moves into commercial operation
The operating systems form part of a previously announced 53 million US dollar contract to supply and implement 366 MWh of battery storage across 10 factories. Turbo Energy said the three sites combine the operating batteries with 34 MWp of installed and operating photovoltaic capacity.
The project marks a shift from equipment delivery and installation to active energy management under industrial production conditions. Turbo Energy's software coordinates battery charging and discharging with solar generation and each facility's consumption profile.
Remaining deployment stays conditional
Turbo Energy said it delivered more than 130 MWh of battery storage systems for the project during the first half of 2026. The remaining delivered capacity was still moving through installation, system integration and commissioning and was not included in the operating figure.
The company also reported that the three installations had avoided 421 metric tons of carbon dioxide since the first systems entered operation in July 2026. Further deployment depends on construction readiness, permitting, testing, customer acceptance and other project-specific conditions.
