- Chief Executive Chuck Treadway plans to leave Vistance Networks on February 1, 2027, while the board searches for a successor.
- Aurora Networks sales fell 5 percent to 338 million dollars as memory costs and delayed customer upgrades weighed on the quarter.

Vistance Networks is preparing for a change at the top as Chief Executive Chuck Treadway plans to leave the company on February 1, 2027. Light Reading reported Thursday that Treadway will also give up his board seat and that Vistance has started a search for his successor.
Vistance Networks stock traded at 4.85 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 23:00 CET on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Investors are assessing the leadership transition alongside weaker near-term operating conditions and the timing of communications-network upgrades.
Succession follows major restructuring
Treadway joined the company in 2020, when it was still known as CommScope, and led a restructuring that included the sale of several businesses. The board has retained an executive search firm, while Guy Sucharczuk, president of Aurora Networks, is identified as a possible internal candidate.
Vistance said the company is now smaller and more focused than when Treadway took charge. The company sold its Ruckus Networks unit to Belden for 1.84 billion dollars and previously sold its Outdoor Wireless Networks and Connectivity & Cable Solutions businesses to Amphenol for a combined 12.6 billion dollars.
Upgrade timing weighs on Aurora
Aurora Networks sales fell 5 percent to 338 million dollars in the third quarter, according to Light Reading. Lower legacy-product sales were only partly offset by next-generation cable amplifiers, while higher memory prices added pressure.
Some large customers are managing inventories and postponing amplifier orders as they review deployment schedules. Treadway said demand for network upgrades remains intact, but parts of the rollout have moved into 2027. Aurora's Full Duplex amplifier is supporting Comcast's DOCSIS 4.0 deployment, giving execution and customer timing a central role in the outlook.
Business remains focused on networks
Vistance Networks is a U.S.-based communications-equipment company focused on cable and PON technologies, network infrastructure and device-security solutions. Its products serve communications operators and related network markets, while the company also holds a 25 percent stake in Vantiva. Following its divestitures, Vistance is a smaller and more focused operator than diversified communications-equipment peers such as Belden and Amphenol, which acquired major former Vistance businesses.
