The clinical catalyst driving this optimism is the antibody-drug conjugate BNT323 (Trastuzumab Pamirtecan). On April 11, BioNTech and partner DualityBio reported positive Phase 2 results in patients with HER2-positive, recurrent endometrial cancer. The confirmed objective response rate was 49.3% among 73 patients who had previously received checkpoint inhibitors. Across the broader study cohort of 143 patients, the rate was 44.1%. The median duration of response was 10.3 months, with a median progression-free survival of 8.1 months. To underscore the move, BioNTech is formally closing its mRNA manufacturing site in Singapore, a facility originally acquired from Novartis in November 2022 to serve the Asia-Pacific region. With global demand for COVID-19 vaccines having collapsed, the site is no longer needed. The closure is scheduled for completion by the end of February 2027. The stock's performance in the coming weeks will hinge on two key events: first-quarter 2026 results due on May 5, which will gauge the pace of the COVID revenue decline, and the outcomes of the shareholder vote on May 15.
