Opel Grandland sits in Stellantis’ compact SUV portfolio as a plug-in hybrid and combustion model based on the group’s EMP2 platform, shared with the Peugeot 3008. The Grandland X name was shortened to Grandland in a 2021 facelift as Opel cleaned up its SUV branding.

Depending on market and trim, the plug-in hybrid Grandland combines a 1.6?liter petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium?ion battery for a system output of up to around 300 hp and all?wheel drive, while front?wheel?drive variants offer roughly 225 hp. In Germany, the Grandland plug-in hybrid has been listed with starting prices in the low-40,000?euro range for well-equipped trims, reflecting battery costs and technology content compared with combustion versions. Fleet discounts and dealer campaigns often bring transaction prices down for corporate customers.

Availability is now in transition. Configurator options in some markets have been reduced as Opel prepares for the new generation, but the current Grandland remains on sale or in stock lists, especially for fleet renewals.
