Siemens Sets 2027 Healthineers Vote Amid Major AI Factory Push

Siemens AG has locked in a definitive timeline for the separation of its medical technology unit while simultaneously accelerating its industrial artificial intelligence strategy, setting the stage for a transformative period. Shareholders will vote on the spin-off of Siemens Healthineers at the ordinary Annual Shareholders' Meeting in February 2027, the company confirmed.

The plan involves distributing 30 percent of Healthineers shares directly to Siemens shareholders via a spin-off under German transformation law. On the technology front, Siemens unveiled a new "Industrial Automation DataCenter," a pre-configured system designed to bring AI computing power directly to the production line.
