A wave of seasonal promotions is cutting deep into the price tags of workplace gear, from height-adjustable desks to high-end monitors. Consumers can pocket savings of up to $492 on select items, as major retailers and niche brands alike roll out limited-time offers.
INNOCN launched an online promotion on July 20, running through July 31. The deal covers gaming and professional monitors from the GA27 series, as well as 49-inch UltraWide displays, with markdowns of as much as $492.
Two days later, on July 21, Media Markt and Saturn joined the fray. Their lineup includes OLED monitors from Asus priced at €419. A new addition is the HyperWork P1 single-monitor arm, which supports screens measuring 17 to 32 inches and weighing up to nine kilograms. Its height adjustment extends to 519 millimeters, with a reach of 405 millimeters — a feature designed to relieve strain on the neck muscles.

Furniture makers are also in on the action. On July 20, the brand Desker kicked off a sales event for so-called “Motion Desks” and ergonomic seating. The company is offering a 30-day return policy on purchases.

Public Sector Spending: €208,000 for a Health Authority
Ergonomics isn’t just a consumer concern. The city of Halle (Saale) invested €208,480.16 to refurnish its public health department. A total of 126 rooms were equipped with new furniture, following strict hygiene and data-protection requirements. IT hardware was financed through grant funding, while the old furniture was redistributed to other municipal facilities.
Ceconomy Eyes Revenue Jump
Ceconomy, the parent company of Media Markt and Saturn, reported revenue of €13.1 billion for the 2025/26 fiscal year. Its target for 2028: €24 billion.
