Thule Group positions the Thule ProBar Evo as a roof rack system for "professional use" and demanding cargo, fitting vehicles with integrated or conventional roof rails. Each bar is made from anodized aluminum and features three T-tracks for attaching accessories along the entire length.

According to the official product sheet, a single Thule ProBar Evo bar is rated for up to 75 kg, with the final permitted load depending on the vehicle roof limit. The bars are available in multiple sizes, typically around 120 cm to 150 cm, to match common vans and estate cars without overhang.

Modular setup for pros and power users

Thule ProBar Evo can be installed as a two-bar or three-bar configuration, enabling different load layouts and supporting long items such as planks and tubes. Thule highlights that the triple T-track structure allows users to mount several accessories stacked vertically, like load stops, eye bolts and ladder holders.

The system works together with accessories including Thule Ladder Tilt, Thule Ladder Holder and Thule Load Stop. On a construction van in Gothenburg, installer Maria Ekström uses ProBar Evo with ladder tilt hardware so the ladder slides down at an angle, making it easier to grab with gloved hands on icy mornings.

Thule supplies ProBar Evo in dedicated kits for many vehicles, and the bars attach via Thule foot packs such as Thule Evo Clamp, Thule Evo Raised Rail or Thule Evo Flush Rail depending on the roof type. The bars support Thule lock systems and can be secured using Thule One-Key System, allowing one set of keys to lock both the rack and compatible accessories. On Thule’s European online catalog, a single Thule ProBar Evo bar typically retails around 150 euro including VAT, depending on length and the specific market. Full kits with two bars and foot packs run higher, but pricing varies by country and reseller, with some bundle offers for fleets.

The product is widely available through Thule’s dealer network across Scandinavia, Germany, the UK and other European markets, and appears in online listings from authorized resellers such as specialized roof rack retailers and multi-brand outdoor stores.
