Deutsche Bank Hands Vincorion a Buy Rating as Second Broker Backs the Defense Supplier

Fresh analyst coverage has put Vincorion back in the spotlight, with Deutsche Bank Research initiating on the stock with a buy recommendation and a price target of EUR 26. The note, published Monday morning, drew an immediate response: the shares climbed 2.9% during the session to EUR 18.91 before settling at a closing price of EUR 18.76, a gain of 2.1% on the day.
The new rating lands just days after Oddo BHF added its own vote of confidence. Analyst Aurelien Sivignion set a EUR 23 target on Friday, meaning two separate houses have now staked out meaningfully higher valuations within the space of a single trading week.
A Decade-Long Growth Story Takes Shape
At the heart of the Deutsche Bank thesis is a long-run view of the business. Analyst Mira Wiegratz projects average annual revenue growth of 15% through 2030, alongside an adjusted EBIT margin of 20% over the medium term. Those figures frame the EUR 26 target as more than a short-term trading call — they position the stock against a multi-year earnings trajectory rather than the recent price action.
The timing is notable. Vincorion has spent weeks absorbing volatility, including a 5.19% slide on September 16 for which no company- or sector-specific trigger was ever identified. Even after Monday's advance, the shares remain 21% below their 52-week high, leaving plenty of ground to recover.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Vincorion?
SDAX Membership Widens the Investor Base
Part of what makes the stock newly interesting to institutions is its index status. Vincorion was added to the SDAX small-cap index at the end of June, on schedule, a move that has raised the company's visibility in the capital markets and made it easier for institutional investors to build positions. Both broker notes explicitly acknowledge the listing as a factor in their constructive stance.
Management, for its part, has reaffirmed its full-year guidance. That confirmation came despite the share price coming under pressure in the weeks that followed, with the stock losing 4.1% over that stretch.
Order Intake and Half-Year Numbers Underpin the Bull Case
The fundamental backdrop gives the analysts something concrete to work with. Demand across the security and defense sector remains elevated, and Vincorion is capturing it through components for modern air-defense systems and armored vehicles. In June alone, the company booked incoming orders worth more than EUR 100 million.
Roughly two weeks ago, Vincorion published its first-half 2026 results. Revenue for the period reached EUR 150.2 million, while adjusted EBIT improved to EUR 28.4 million. The margin performance suggests the company can absorb the additional volume profitably across its plants, and healthy capacity utilization supports confidence for the second half of the year.
Vincorion at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
New business remains the primary engine. With the half-year figures in hand, Vincorion expects full-year revenue at the upper end of its projected range of EUR 280 million to EUR 320 million.
Against that operating picture, the two analyst notes arrive at a moment when the stock has been consolidating — and they appear to have given the shares fresh momentum.
