Kuros Biosciences has named Adam Wollowick as Chief Medical Officer, adding a spine surgeon with a background in clinical research and medical technology to its executive team. The appointment, reported on 21 October, is intended to sharpen the company's clinical and medical capabilities, according to Kuros. Wollowick joins from Stryker, bringing both medical expertise and management experience to the leadership ranks.

The hire lands alongside a manufacturing milestone: in October the company began commercial production of MagnetOs at its new site in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Option Exercise, Not an Open-Market Purchase

Separately, a regulatory notification dated 19 October disclosed a share acquisition by a member of the management board or board of directors. The filing covered 59,496 registered shares worth CHF 282,505. The transaction came about through the exercise of employee options, the notice stated — meaning it was not a purchase on the open market. The individual was not named.

Nine-Month Figures Underpin Raised Outlook

Behind these personnel and operational steps sit the group's results for the first nine months of 2026, published roughly two weeks ago. Medical technology revenue climbed 40% to USD 141.8 million. Group EBITDA came in at USD 13.5 million, while adjusted EBITDA reached USD 20.6 million.

Those numbers accompanied an upgrade to full-year guidance. Kuros now expects revenue growth of 36–40% for 2026, with an adjusted EBITDA margin above 14.5%. The prior target had been at least 35% top-line growth and an adjusted EBITDA margin of around 14%. The higher figures remain projections, not results already booked.

Investors will get the next formal checkpoint on 3 March 2027, when Kuros is scheduled to publish its 2026 annual results.
