LVMH is extending its "AI for ALL" transformation programme across its business divisions, the group said, roughly a year after the initiative was launched to harness innovation in support of the excellence and independence of its maisons. Artificial intelligence also dominated the third edition of the company's "Business of Tomorrow" event in Paris on Tuesday, where participants debated how the technology could drive innovation across LVMH's six operating segments.

The push comes alongside a busy corporate and legal calendar. On Tuesday the group filed a notice with the French financial markets authority AMF covering dealings in its own shares between 26 and 30 October, without disclosing transaction volumes.

Hermès stake back in the spotlight

Judicial interest in LVMH's historical Hermès holding has resurfaced. According to Le Monde, an investigating magistrate questioned Jean-Jacques Guiony as a witness on 30 October. The inquiry concerns shares belonging to Hermès heir Nicolas Puech that have gone missing, and it also examined LVMH's historic acquisition of a 17% stake in Hermès. Le Monde frames the move as a fresh judicial review of those events; there is no evidence that the testimony triggered the stock's latest price move.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying LVMH?

At Christian Dior SE, the listed holding company that controls LVMH, shareholders on Monday approved a change of legal form. Media reports put support at 99.99% for the conversion from a European company into a French joint-stock company. The vote applies to the holding, not to the Christian Dior fashion house.

Third-quarter growth held back by fashion

Operationally, LVMH reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of EUR 18.5 billion on 12 October, with organic growth of 1%. Revenue for the first nine months of 2026 came to EUR 57.1 billion. In the fashion and leather goods division, organic revenue fell 5% in the third quarter.

On the creative front, Hector Muelas took over as Chief Brand Creative Officer at Louis Vuitton on 1 November. According to WWD, he is responsible for brand campaigns and the brand's storytelling, including content production, and reports to deputy chief executive Damien Bertrand.

Dividend and share count

Income investors have the interim dividend circled: LVMH has set 30 November 2026 as the last trading day carrying entitlement, with a payout of EUR 5.50 per share scheduled for 3 December 2026. In its monthly capital disclosure, the group reported 494,606,080 shares outstanding, 743,358,184 gross voting rights and 739,382,278 net voting rights.
