Nestlé Backs Full-Year Targets as Ski Sponsorship and U.S. Plant Shift Reshape the Story
Published on 11/07/2026 at 04:42 | Editorial boerse-global.deNestlé has reaffirmed its 2026 guidance, keeping its organic growth target of 3% to 4% intact alongside a free cash flow forecast above CHF 9 billion. The confirmation, first issued with third-quarter results roughly two weeks ago, also points to an improvement in the underlying operating margin compared with 2025.
Those quarterly figures, released for Q3 2026, showed sales of CHF 22.756 billion. Organic growth came in at 4.0%, of which 2.8% represented real internal growth. Reuters reported at the time that the stock initially gained ground following the release.
A Softer Session, With No Clear Trigger
The shares have since lost some altitude. Nestlé fell 1.4% in yesterday's trading, with no specific company catalyst identified in Friday's market coverage. A separate report put today's decline at 1.2%, attributing the pressure to a weaker Swiss market, where soft U.S. leads had followed a sell-off in AI-related stocks after the congressional election. No link to any analyst action has been established for either move.

Three-Year Deal With Swiss-Ski
Alongside its commercial performance, Nestlé has moved to raise the profile of several key brands through winter sport. The company and Swiss-Ski announced a three-year partnership on 29 October, under which Nestlé becomes an official Silver Partner. No contract value was disclosed.
The agreement puts Cailler, Thomy and Nescafé on show across a range of snow sports and at events, while also funding young skiing talent. Media reports said the partners signed the deal at Nestlé Switzerland's headquarters, and that the collaboration begins with the current season. That opening season coincides with the World Ski Championships in Crans-Montana, scheduled for 1 to 14 February 2027.
U.S. Production Consolidation
On the operational side, Nestlé USA told employees on 19 October that it will close its Solon, Ohio, production site by the end of 2027, according to media reports. Output of Nestlé Professional Solutions pouches is to be shifted in stages to Gaffney, South Carolina.
Investors will get their next full update on 18 February 2027, the expected date for the fourth-quarter 2026 results.
