Quantum eMotion will fly the flag for post-quantum cybersecurity in the south of France this month, confirming its role as a bronze sponsor of the World Quantum Cannes Festival on 17 and 18 November. The company intends to use the two-day event to showcase its portfolio of quantum-safe security products — a lineup spanning QRNG, SecureKey, Sentry-Q and eShield-Q.

The sponsorship fits into a broader push to deepen the firm's footprint in France and across Europe, according to the company. Investors greeted the news with a modest advance: the stock added 2.1% to €0.9775. Quantum eMotion stopped short of drawing any link between the announcement and the share price move.

New Technology Chief Takes the Reins

Overseeing that product lineup is David Wayne ("Wayne") Teeple, whom Quantum eMotion named chief technology officer a day before the Cannes announcement. A former member of the board, Teeple is charged with shaping technology strategy, driving product development and coordinating engineering work, as well as handling technical integration.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Quantum eMotion?

His brief extends to potential integration work tied to the planned acquisition of Plurilock Security. Quantum eMotion said early conversations with Plurilock customers had already turned up appetite for exploring how its own solutions might be applied.

Teeple's appointment came with 500,000 stock options exercisable at $1.47 per share.

Plurilock Circular Filed Ahead of 18 November Vote

On the takeover front, Plurilock has lodged its management information circular for the shareholder ballot, which is set for 18 November 2026. Under the published terms, Plurilock investors would collect C$0.084 in cash for each share they hold, plus 0.0763 Quantum eMotion shares — a package that pairs a fixed cash component with equity in the proposed acquirer.

Plurilock's board has unanimously recommended that shareholders back the transaction. The deal still hinges on that investor approval along with other required clearances.
