Radiant Uranium Closes First CSE Week Just Above a 52-Week Floor
Published on 08/15/2026 at 19:50 | Redaktion boerse-global.deThe uranium junior's migration to the Canadian Securities Exchange has done little to arrest the slide in its share price, with the stock ending its debut week on the new venue within a whisker of its lowest point in a year.
Radiant Uranium, which began trading under the ticker RUC on the CSE on 6 August 2026, closed the week to 14 August at C$0.14. That leaves the equity barely above its 52-week trough of C$0.135, a level traders are now watching closely as the first line of defence.
The move to the CSE was pitched by chief executive Clive Massey as a shift to a more accommodating regulatory climate. Massey cited "unnecessary hurdles" at the previous listing venue and argued the new exchange would give the company greater latitude to evaluate and, where appropriate, acquire additional ground.
A portfolio built on three early-stage assets
The exploration strategy remains anchored in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, a region internationally recognised for high-grade uranium endowment and home to major deposits such as McArthur River and Cigar Lake. Radiant's ground position spans roughly 13,800 hectares across three projects:
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Radiant Uranium?
- Key Lake Road Project: More than 5,500 hectares, situated about 90 kilometres south of the established Key Lake mine and mill, within the Wollaston-Mudjatik transition zone.
- Gorilla Lake Property: Approximately 6,950 hectares inside the Carswell impact structure, a setting valued for its complex deformation history.
- Douglas River Project: Over 1,300 hectares on the margin of the Carswell structure.
The Gorilla Lake ground carries particular historical weight given its proximity to the former Cluff Lake mine, which produced more than 62 million pounds of uranium oxide during its operating life. Permitting work for geophysical surveys and follow-up drilling is currently under way there, and management has framed these approvals as the key catalyst for the remainder of 2026.
Market cap reflects a heavily compressed valuation
At the current price, the company is valued at roughly C$5.77 million, based on approximately 41.22 million shares outstanding. The 52-week range tells a stark story of its own: from a high of C$14.54 down to the present level, a collapse that points to either a capital restructuring or substantial dilution, though the company has not provided specific detail on the mechanics behind the move.
Technical indicators suggest the market is still digesting the exchange switch. The stock touched around C$0.16 shortly after the CSE announcement before easing back to C$0.14. Moving averages point to a consolidation phase, while the relative strength index sits near 44.5, hinting that selling pressure following the listing change may be abating.

European access adds a second audience
Beyond the primary CSE listing, Radiant has made its shares available to European investors through Tradegate and Xetra in Germany under the ticker V0O0. The dual-market approach is designed to widen the shareholder base at a time when the global energy transition and efforts to secure North American nuclear fuel supply are lending structural support to uranium demand.
For now, the immediate question is whether the C$0.135 support level holds. A successful defence of that mark could signal accumulation after the post-listing drift lower. The next meaningful move, however, is unlikely to come from the chart alone — the pending permit decisions for Gorilla Lake and Key Lake Road will likely determine the direction of the shares in the weeks ahead.
