A new prevention centre has opened its doors at Titzstraße 17a in Saarlouis, bringing personal health advice together with targeted diagnostic testing under one roof. CityVital17a covers prevention, movement and relaxation, according to a saarnews.com report dated 22 October 2026.
At the core of the offering sits physiological and functional diagnostics. Staff measure body composition on site to produce detailed readings on muscle mass, fat percentage and water balance. Posture and gait analyses round out the testing, designed to catch strain and deficits in the musculoskeletal system early. For these analyses the centre works in partnership with Sanisaar-Orthopädietechnik, a medical orthopaedics firm based in Merzig.
The centre's remit stretches across several areas of preventive health: mobility work, stress balance, weight management and targeted strengthening of pelvic floor health. On the pharmaceutical and advisory side, CityVital17a cooperates with the local CityApotheke pharmacy.
Beyond consultations and analyses, the facility offers both device-based and manual treatments. Clients looking for recovery and physical relaxation can use classic massage, an infrared cabin and a cold chamber.
Founder Julia Pientka also drew backing from the municipality at launch. Daniela Dillschneider, Saarlouis's business development officer, congratulated the founder on the new offering in the town centre and pledged the city's continued support. The concept is intended to make preventive health services accessible locally with as few barriers as possible.
