Siemens will publish fourth-quarter results and preliminary figures for fiscal 2026 on November 12, with an analyst call scheduled for 9:30 CET, giving investors their next hard look at a conglomerate in the middle of a far-reaching overhaul.

The date lands amid a busy stretch of corporate activity. Siemens confirmed on Thursday that it will spin off and deconsolidate Siemens Healthineers in 2027, submitting the plan to both companies' shareholder meetings in February of that year. The medical-technology unit will also rebrand as Healthineers, a name change Siemens says will begin in 2027 and roll out over three years.

Rail Push Extends From Italy to the West Country

On the rail side, Siemens closed its acquisition of several core businesses of Italy's MERMEC Group on Wednesday, folding the operations into Siemens Mobility. A day later it opened a technology and innovation center for rail infrastructure in Chippenham, England, an investment the company pegs at 115 million euros and credits with securing 800 local jobs.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Siemens?

Siemens Mobility also unveiled a rail-based medical evacuation concept with Lufthansa Technik Defense on Tuesday. The train, according to Siemens, would be able to carry more than 150 patients. Earlier in the week, Siemens Digital Industries presented a new ELV drive solution for autonomous transport systems and mobile robotics, built around the Sinamics E210 converter and Simotics E1EE1 servo motors.

Deutsche Bank Stays on the Sidelines

Deutsche Bank Research kept Siemens at "Hold" with a 270-euro price target. Analyst Gael de-Bray pointed to mixed signals from competitors' automation results while describing the company's order momentum in electrification as strong.

The stock shed 2.9% in the prior session, caught in a broad European selloff tied to uncertainty over AI shares, with Reuters reporting cross-sector losses. German media coverage also cited doubts about the profitability of heavy AI spending and the prospect of tighter regulation, though no company-specific trigger for the decline was identified.

Düsseldorf Lease Renewed With Green Upgrades

Siemens separately extended the long-term lease on its Düsseldorf Airport City offices on Wednesday. The roughly 6,300 square meters of space will be modernized, and the building owner plans investments in heat pumps, charging infrastructure and photovoltaic systems.
